Whoever has heard the news of Manisha Koirala agreeing to deliver a lecture on Indian Cinema at Harvard is pooh poohing it as another one of her publicity stunts. Why her you`d wonder. Considering she can barely express herself coherently in any language, let alone speak for a full 45 minutes as part of the lecture series, isn`t she somewhat of a ludicrous choice for the job?

Though the Nepali lass has to her credit some decent performances but whatever gave her idea that she could actually lecture authoritatively on Indian cinema?

Perhaps, all she can wholeheartedly hold forth on are the ugly events she has been witness to - all revolving around her life. And when it comes to scandals and outrageously disreputable and appalling anecdotes from her personal life, who could be more judgemental than Manya? Being subject to so much she obviously is the most convincing and commanding actor to speak at a forum about life and its vagaries.
